Sustainable development
The recycling of non-ferrous metals fits perfectly into the concept of the circular economy. Indeed, although recycled, metals retain their physical and chemical properties and are almost infinitely recyclable.
Our daily action contributes to the preservation of natural resources by putting back on the market raw and secondary materials that do not require further extraction or refining.
In this way, the recycling process avoids the disposal of materials in landfill sites.
In addition, the recycling of secondary materials generates much less CO2 than the primary production of metals. At JGI-HYDROMETAL, we go even further since our innovative processes consume very little energy. Therefore, our recycling activities reduce the impact of human activity on the environment.
LESS USE OF RAW MATERIALS
LESS ENERGY USE
LESS GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS
Thanks to our ever more efficient and innovative chemical processes, we offer solutions to our industrial partners to treat their residues and co-products. This way, we offer an alternative to landfill and preserve natural resources.
RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
ALTERNATIVE TO LANDFILL
LOW CO2 EMISSION
Verified and ethical sources
The JGI-HYDROMETAL group is aware of inherent risks in the metals industry. We guarantee ethical and responsible sourcing, ensuring that materials do not come from conflict or high-risk areas and are extracted under respectful working conditions.

Safety is everywhere
THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR cOLLABORATORS ARE AT THE CENTER OF ALL OUR ATTENTION
The JGI-HYDROMETAL group has a “Zero accident” prevention policy aimed at minimizing risks and including safety into all its processes and activities.
This security component is subject to a rigorous procedure, subject to continuous review and improvement.
PERMANENT JOINT EFFORT
This policy is set up through several simultaneous and complementary actions:
- Risk analysis of our processes
- Knowledge of our products and their reaction chemistry
- Training and informing stakeholders
- Involvement of staff members
- Control of emergency situations
- Thriving for continuous improvement
HYDROMETAL is a high threshold Seveso production site.
